Our Services

We provide support for individuals of all ages to develop their speech, language and communication skills through our school service, day opportunity (sometime known as day service) and training.

Speech and Language Therapy in schools

As state registered speech and language therapists (SaLTs) and SaLT assistants, we provide services to schools and colleges across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Berkshire during term time. We specialise in working with children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), an intellectual disability (learning disability), autistic individuals, and individuals with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Day Opportunity (sometimes known as Day Service)

We focus on creating an environment that supports individuals’ speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), helping them thrive, learn, and achieve their life goals. Our team of experienced communication facilitators support a range of communication needs, and a member of our Speech and Language Therapy team is on hand to ensure the day service is a Total Communication environment.

Training

We offer training courses to support professionals and parents in all aspects of Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), including social communication, Makaton, communication and behaviour, Total Communication and Sensory Integration.

We work in conjunction with Alex Kelly, the author of the popular Talkabout series. We regularly deliver Talkabout training for those wishing to deliver the programme in a range of settings, with, and on behalf of Alex. Most recently our Managing Director, Naomi Pearson, co-authored The Talkabout Assessment of Social Skills (TASS) along with Alex.
