This course will explore the link between communication and responsive behaviours. You will discuss causes of behaviours that challenge and hear about models & strategies to support a person’s communication. Through the use of case studies, you will identify ways to reduce the need for behaviours that challenge. This is a practical course and we aim for you to leave with a number of suggestions and solutions that you can try out in the workplace.
The course is aimed at anyone supporting children or adults with communication needs.
