This course is aimed at anyone supporting individuals with sensory differences. It is a highly practical course which offers both theory and practical exercises which aim to increase your understanding of sensory differences. The aim is that you will leave with both increased knowledge and practical strategies. The course is facilitated by a dual trained speech and language therapist and sensory integration practitioner.
The course is aimed anyone supporting children or adults with sensory differences.

Sheena Gale-Sowamber qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2013. She worked within the NHS before moving to Speaking Space (Romsey) Ltd. in 2019. Sheena is a lead therapist and qualified as a Sensory Integration Practitioner in 2024. She now works in a variety of settings, providing speech and language therapy and sensory integration assessments.
Nalia Thurgood qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2019. She has experience working with children and young people in mainstream, special schools and clinical settings. Nalia is currently training to be a Sensory Integration Practitioner.
