An overview of the course:
Level 3 (day 1):
- This course revises what you have learnt on levels 1 & 2 and aims to improve and develop your sign and symbol use. You will learn stages 5 and 6 of the Makaton core vocabulary.
- Participants can choose to attend Level 3 only if they have already attended Level 1 & 2.
Level 4 (day 2):
- This course revises what you have learnt on levels 1, 2 & 3 and teaches you stages 7 and 8 of the Makaton core vocabulary. By the end of this level you will have learnt the complete core vocabulary of signs and symbols
- Participants can choose to attend Level 4 only if they have already attended Level 1, 2 & 3.

Professionals, parents and carers who need to use Makaton at home or in their work
About the trainer
Naomi qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2000. She has worked in a variety of settings within the NHS before moving to independent practice. Naomi is the Managing Director at Speaking Space (Romsey) Ltd and a Makaton Tutor.
